New to Doha
Hello everyone,
I just moved here and I am trying to figure out what to do. I have been here almost two weeks, and I do not want to suffer like I did last Friday. Any suggestions on what to do in the area on Fridays? If it helps, I live in the Al Saad area and hope to have a car in the next week or two.
Also, any suggestions on a gym? I was a member of Gold's back home, and have been considering it here. If there is anyone that is interested in a workout partner, drop me a line. I am not a muscle head, but I appreicate the motivation.
I look forward to learning more about Doha.

hi ...well its ok qatar is developing now you can always take a walk at corniche or go to ramada if you prefer to friday is quite leasnt if you wanna have a drink or something but if you dont do all that you can take a walk in corniche or visit any malls.well qatar is still not so modern bt it will be soon

Thanks ...I will do some exploring tomorrow. Good news is I have my car now so I can really get out and about.
One of my office mates is taking me to a UK bar tonight, so that should be fun.
