Rental Agreements
By rearmowf on Mon, 17/07/2006 - 9:37am
Is it customary here in Qatar for tenants to pay maintenance costs? I have and offer for a three bedroom flat but the landlord will not pay for maintenance. Also who pays the real estate agent fees the landlord or the leasee.
TIA

I have never had that ...I have never had that maintance has always in my case been the landlords problem but it depends what is in your contract if it says the other way then thats it! Real estate fees never heard of the leasee having to pay that one! I would not get into the maintance because you could end up paying alot of money out on something that you do not own find another flat!
