Rents have already come down
I looked at the classifieds in today's Gulf Times and it is obvious that rents have already reduced quite considerably. There seems to be a big supply of villas and apartments at lower prices than they were just one month ago. Central apartments with two beds and two beaths at QR7,000 per month (I pay 9,500 for mine) and villas with pools at QR13,000. I think the rents are coming down. What do you think

already? ...Wow that was quick!
I'm planning to move in Jan with a budget of 7000, so it's looking good for me :D

Well just my opinion ...but I think it does look good for you. Get ready for some serious negotiating. For me it sucks because I am locked in until September. My wife and daughter are coming here later this month and I don't think they are going to be overly impressed with my current base. No slaves in my family, even though I am a fat balding bastard.

hehe ...sorry for you wife & daughter. The flat is not as important as having a good life outside the house, I'm sure they will put up with it until september!
In my family my husband and I are the slaves of our little tyrane, and boy does she bosses us around the little angel!
Dont worry about being fat and balding. I dont think you are a bastard.

Thanks for that ...I am not actually fat either, if anything a bit on the skinny side and I have a good head of hair. But things can change! As for being a slave to my daughter, well if her Christmas list is anything to go by, I am in for a hard life.

I saw That Too! ...Ey, I saw that too. And if you're probably very keen in looking for a great deal, you might just get one in time. It seems that it is slowly picking up (or down haha!).
Again, the demand will press the prices of the supply, putting them on proper lower costs for all of us.
