VISA on arrival for GCC Nationals

I am Indian national .I have residence permit in Qatar and residing here for more than five year. As a GCC resident Visa holder ;Can I go to Abu Dhabi and get visa on arrival at airport? My profession is computer programmer.

It depends on whether you will be considered "white collar" by UAE officials. Why don't you ask the airline staff - Emirates, Air Arabia or Ethihad offices will tell you exactly if you are eligible or not.

I know that for Dubai all you do is fill out a form at the airport in the arrivals terminal, pay DH100 (approx QR100) and you're all set...

Hello !!

I would like to know is it allowed for a person to hold Work Permits of two GCC countries for eg: Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

I'm not talking about residency or family visa. It is about holding a Qatar Work Visit as well as a work permit in KSA.

I personally know someone who holds two RP's. One for Qatar and one for UAE.

I'm getting mixed results on the issue. I've read on the HR website for Qatar Foundation that if employees wish to maintain a RP for another country they only need to pay more at the time their RP is being issued in Qatar. Now this means that its allowed but discouraged. However, I've also read that people have had problems.

Where would one go to get some concrete information on this matter?

hi golu,i'm currently working in UAE and planning to shift to doha. there's a possibility that my UAE rp will not be cancelled since to avoid me working with other UAE companies.as you mentioned, there's possibility of paying extra to doha immigration to maintain the 2 rps. If that's possible, what's the process? just in case u've already got the information on this. thanks in advance and cheers.

i have rp in qatar...it will expire next year...but now im working here in kuwait...so technically i have 2 gcc residency...will i have a problem if i go to qatar since my rp in qatar has not been cancelled
