Wierd Propositions
Why is it that beng an American I have not had any issues with excessive unwanted GAY propositions except while in Qatar?
These mostly come from non arab non western men, with 2 Aussies being the exception. These guys are persistent to the point of being utterly disgusting. One even asked about mutual masturbation.
Have any other Western guys had to put up with this or am I just special? I am starting to become paranoid.
And ladies I now know how you feel and I am deeply sympathetic with the plight you face every day from guys.

What a refreshing change ...Not actually been propositioned by men over here, blatantly homosexuality is frowned upon here more so than in the west. It is said that GAY men go for something they think is gay, try changing the way you dress or get a really bad haircut.
Not taking the micky at all, and you have my sympathy! Perhaps a good hard kick where it hurts could be the trick!

Haircut? ...If I did not already have a high and tight maybe I would have some hair to work with, however most the gals I know hate the short haircut anyhow. As for dress I think a pair of Carharts and the belt buckle would work like they do in the states to say "Not up for salad tossing" or perhaps the snuff in my lip? Nope nothing coming off as gay that I see, just a bunch of repressed sexuality in these guys and they want to get their rocks off without women.
Perhaps if they were allowed around or to see the female anatomy more then they would not be so F***ing annoying. If you see a post of an American in Qatari jail for killing some of these guys it may just be me.

Poor Ladies ...Now of course we know how the ladies of the world feel when they get around men. Unfortunately I feel that it may be the whole Karma biting us in the arse as men have been this way to women so often, perhaps it is God's way of smiting us. The GAY PLAGUE of DOHA. And from the persistence of some of these queers they are about as hard to get rid of as locusts. Hmmmm- Like horny college guys in a bar coming up to a cute gal...darn karma

Figured it out ...The majority of the issues I have had are SMS messages. Figured it out that i was my own dumb mistake. I posted my mobile on here weeks ago when my computer was dying and I could not find an adapter for the power supply. Luckily one user used the number to assist me, now I have had multiple users who spam my phone with this crap. As for the Aussies, I believe that just like any guy who is drunk and obnoxious to a girl, so can the gays be towards guys.

Emmmmmm. Seems to me that ...Emmmmmm. Seems to me that some people are quite insecure. I mean really give the gay people a break. Imagine being gay in this country, that is if you are able for one second to put yourself in someone elses shoes....Grow up, we are all intitled to live as we choose, gay or otherwise!

Perhaps we have now found the resident homo by your assumption of me being homocidal you have taken my dislike of unwanted propositions and misconstrued it as hatred. I have gay friends, friends who do not make unwanted advances nor do they discuss the perverted activities in which they participate.
I don't believe anyone on this forum mentioned killing or even attacking any homosexual. The only comment that was made was towards any UNWANTED advance especially those of a disgusting nature. In that case the comment was made of stopping the unwanted act by force.
This may be a warning to anyone who makes unwanted advances. There is always the chance of a adverse reactions to an unwanted advance. Just any guy who has had a few too many drinks resulting in being slapped in the face by the object of their advances.

Know how you feel .. ...Sat in a bar a couple of weeks ago, getting relatively late into the evening and I am chatting to a female friend of mine. Some middle aged American comes over and introduces himself, so I figure he wants to chat up the girl i'm with. Instead he ignores her and talks to me for five or ten minutes and leaves. Then a few minutes later he comes back and asks me to dance. I'm thinking to myself ... you what? I politely declined and watched my back every time I went to the toilet after that.
