Yesterday, May 4th, was the opening ceremony for the Filipino Tennis League at the Khalifa Stadium at 530pm but the game itself started at 6pm. Athletes from various sectors conglomerate after the speeches of the sponsors and some are doing their stretching. Families are bringing their own children and most of these kids have a great deal of time. Most of them are familiar about the lawn tennis sports having been a companion to their parents, uncles, aunties & other relatives.
When the proper games started everybody cheered at their own bet (of course their family!). It was really a sort of camaraderie in the spirits of the game.

As agreed on the first meeting, we will try to have our weekly coffee corner. So this is the first. This will be our way of unwinding with friends from QL also a moment to discuss plans or just plain talk and stories to share. Anything goes in this QL Coffee time!
It was decided to be held at Coffee Cottage at the time and date set. This is at Citi Center (near the movie house) so it will be convenient enough for those without personal transportation.
This is open for all. So if you want to bring friends and other QL members as well, you may do so.
