Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) conducts a conference on Knowledge Based Industries (KBI) and Nanotechnology in 11 - 12 February, 2008. GOIC organizes this event in cooperation with the Arab Industrial Development & Mining Organization (AIDMO) and The Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF). With the participation of international keynote speakers, the conference targets introducing KBIs and diagnosing means and practical mechanisms for enabling GCC member states to launch this industry, further to presenting a comprehensive strategy for GCC in this field.
