The College of Education of Qatar University will organise its fourth special education conference entitled “Inclusion: Practice and Challenges” on May 11 and 12.

Dr Hessa Sadik, Dean of the College said the goal of the conference was to address challenges of providing quality education for children with disabilities in the Qatari education system.

The conference will address the need for relevant agencies, in the community and in education, to have a better knowledge of disabilities to provide quality services and the least restrictive environment for students with disabilities.

It will also highlight the importance of collaboration with parents and community members in the education process.

Under the patronage of the Royal Thai Embassy, Chefs, fruit carvers, musicians and dancers will be flown in from Thailand for this festival which will take place at the Cafe' Restaurant from 19:00 to 23:30 daily from the 8th May until the 13th May.
