and what perfect timing with summer coming up and everyone clearing out the clutter before going away.

Under the patronage of the Royal Thai Embassy, Chefs, fruit carvers, musicians and dancers will be flown in from Thailand for this festival which will take place at the Cafe' Restaurant from 19:00 to 23:30 daily from the 8th May until the 13th May.

I wouldn't drive anywhere near Al Wabb street/villagio until this is finished.... there will be the big Corniche exodous later on.... so you can breathe in burning rubber.

This will be one of the last chances to see the Exiles perform before they take a hiatus for the summer. The band would love to welcome all of their fans to join them for the Gulf Helicopter's annual pool party. Party starts around 8:00 and the band will start the music around 9:00. Hope to see you all there.

A Bazaar for the children of Afghanistan
Friday 16th May 2008

Come
and browse through an eclectic collection of crafts and creations by
Doha Artisans. Some quality second hand treasures will also be
available.

A percentage of proceeds will be going to Aschiana, a program to help street children in Afghanistan.
