Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) which started maiden venture of badminton training to children in Qatar has been coerced to move out of premises of Qatar Badminton Club (QBC). In response to numerous requests received during and after the 1st Qatar Open Junior & Sub Junior Badminton tournament held in Al Arabi Sports Club in May 2008, badminton training for children/junior players in Qatar commenced under the aegis of Qatar Badminton Academy with sole aim to groom Badminton talents of Qatar which could produce tremendous results bringing in sporting glories for the State of Qatar.
