An exhibition of photographs from the recent archaeological excavations undertaken by the Qatar Islamic Archaeology and Heritage Project at the ancient settlement of Al Zubarah.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, prior to the emergence of Doha, the fortified city of Al Zubarah was a major trading centre. This photographic exhibition aims to portray the current work at the site; not as a record of a dead city but from a different perspective – as a living archaeological site, another page in the site’s evolving history.
Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) is all set to re commence its successful and acclaimed training program for the children and junior players.
The program would start from 1st April 2010 at Qatar Badminton Club, Doha Rugby Club Annex, near Doha College.
Not only the venue is centrally located but also there would be flexibility in the training program to accommodate various requirements. The program would be held in batches scheduled on week days 4 PM to 5:30 PM, Fri-Sat 9 AM to 4 PM.
Mon 15th – Sept 12th: The Third Line, Souq Waqif. The
Third Line Doha will showcase an impressive line-up of
pieces from its represented artists. In this first edition of a Summer Show, around 30 smaller pieces by some of The Third Line’s best-selling artists will be available in Doha - don't miss this opportunity to own a unique piece by acclaimed artists Laleh Khorramian, Youssef Nabil and Fouad Elkoury, among others. Qatar has created a history of sorts in the recently concluded GCC Open Badminton Tournament at Bahrain by becoming Champion of the Tournament for the year 2009. Players from Qatar has finally been able to leap forward Qatar into the top position in the GCC open badminton tournament amongst the top players from KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai & Abu Dhabi. Mr. Arun Vijaykumar from Qatar became champion of the tournament by winning the Men's Single title.
"Summer At Home" will showcase artworks of artists from

Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) is all set to re commence its successful and acclaimed training program for the children and junior players.
The program would start from 1st April 2010 at Qatar Badminton Club, Doha Rugby Club Annex, near Doha College.
Not only the venue is centrally located but also there would be flexibility in the training program to accommodate various requirements. The program would be held in batches scheduled on week days 4 PM to 5:30 PM, Fri-Sat 9 AM to 4 PM.
Mon 15th – Sept 12th: The Third Line, Souq Waqif. The
Third Line Doha will showcase an impressive line-up of
pieces from its represented artists. In this first edition of a Summer Show, around 30 smaller pieces by some of The Third Line’s best-selling artists will be available in Doha - don't miss this opportunity to own a unique piece by acclaimed artists Laleh Khorramian, Youssef Nabil and Fouad Elkoury, among others. Qatar has created a history of sorts in the recently concluded GCC Open Badminton Tournament at Bahrain by becoming Champion of the Tournament for the year 2009. Players from Qatar has finally been able to leap forward Qatar into the top position in the GCC open badminton tournament amongst the top players from KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai & Abu Dhabi. Mr. Arun Vijaykumar from Qatar became champion of the tournament by winning the Men's Single title.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, prior to the emergence of Doha, the fortified city of Al Zubarah was a major trading centre. This photographic exhibition aims to portray the current work at the site; not as a record of a dead city but from a different perspective – as a living archaeological site, another page in the site’s evolving history.

Qatar has created a history of sorts in the recently concluded GCC Open Badminton Tournament at Bahrain by becoming Champion of the Tournament for the year 2009. Players from Qatar has finally been able to leap forward Qatar into the top position in the GCC open badminton tournament amongst the top players from KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai & Abu Dhabi. Mr. Arun Vijaykumar from Qatar became champion of the tournament by winning the Men's Single title.

An exhibition of photographs from the recent archaeological excavations undertaken by the Qatar Islamic Archaeology and Heritage Project at the ancient settlement of Al Zubarah.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, prior to the emergence of Doha, the fortified city of Al Zubarah was a major trading centre. This photographic exhibition aims to portray the current work at the site; not as a record of a dead city but from a different perspective – as a living archaeological site, another page in the site’s evolving history.
Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) is all set to re commence its successful and acclaimed training program for the children and junior players.
The program would start from 1st April 2010 at Qatar Badminton Club, Doha Rugby Club Annex, near Doha College.
Not only the venue is centrally located but also there would be flexibility in the training program to accommodate various requirements. The program would be held in batches scheduled on week days 4 PM to 5:30 PM, Fri-Sat 9 AM to 4 PM.
