Well pwb, you have to look ...Well pwb, you have to look around.
I bought some beautiful gemstone necklaces from the Iranian stalls. Most of the clothes are crap, but if you dig you can find some gems. Most of the Chinese handbags are not too great, but i found one that suits my needs for a good price.
Shoes, well, I found two stalls at the end, one had very fashionable Lebanese shoes, which i liked but they were quite expensive. The other stall was Arab, and very inexpensive and they had a few good models.
You will see a lot of egyptian stuff for the house, inexpensive and pretty.
Wouldn't go for the "handpainted" glasses, I found all of them were rubbish.
Happy hunting !

Finally got to the fair last ...Finally got to the fair last night and thought it was pretty good. Didn't buy much but was impressed with the size of it, though I thought there were too many clothes stores. It was also nice to see so many Qataris attending.
On the down side, I'd just like to (sarcastically) congratulate Doha on creating yet another building with inadequate parking. It took us 30 minutes just to get into the car park last night, and the number of spaces was woefully inadequate for the size of the venue. Hence why more people were parked in the surrounding "desert" then in the actually car park. And as we were leaving an ambulance was trying to get to the venue (with sirens/lights on) and had a real struggle due to the car park being blocked with traffic.
You think they'd learn from past mistakes (City Center & the tennis complex to name two I've experienced recently) and build car parks that are big enough, are well laid out and have enough entrances/exits.

I thought they did a good ...I thought they did a good job arranging this event. So thank you for organising this.
I was a bit reluctant at first buying this fake signature brand bag but my friend was wearing the same bag as I have purchased. I tell you there are not many differences between the fake and the real one. My friend payed QR$6,000 for her bag and I only purchased this for QR$135. Ok I am not sure how long I will use mine maybe once or twice as I am a bit embarrass. Why will you guys do?

lalkrip; The exhibition ...lalkrip; The exhibition centre is next to the InterContinental hotel. It has big red walls at each end. Drive away from City Center to Rainbow round-about, bear right at the round-about towards the InterCon and you can't miss it.
icu; I agree the event was well organised. It's the exhibition centre car parking I was moaning about, not the event itself. Enjoy using your bag and don't worry about being embarrassed, no one will be able to tell it's a fake unless they get up real close!

Hi Tallg Yes I agree with ...Hi Tallg
Yes I agree with you about the parking. My husband is always having a hard time to even just pick me up. I have been there 2 times actually. I actually look at the brand of the bag i purchased on the net and yes you are right it was in a catalogue and even up close it is very hard to know which is fake and which is not. I wonder if the origial authentic I have purchased in the fast were actually real. How do we know these days.
