transferring money to Canada

Can anyone advise if you get a better exchange rate when using internet banking by switching Qatar riyals to Canadian dollars in Qatar or when your funds arrive in Canada? I am transferring from an HSBC to an HSBC. Thanks, Greg

transferring money to Canada ...Considering that the Canadian Dollar is appreciating against the USD and the QAR is pegged to the USD, the sooner you get your money into CAD the better it is. Besides, fixed charges by Canadian banks are much higher that local banks in Qatar. Based on this, I would say buy the CAD here.
ALL IT TAKES FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING!!!
