Thanks guys! ...I had a great time indeed!
It was a sucessful first gathering. Although there were moments of silence. I think it was more of the surprise of seeing each other flesh and blood. Before this meeting, we were just letting our imaginations picture out the person behind the username and avatar. Then we see each other face to face. But in the end we were all laughing together and having a great time!
By the way here are some of items discussed: (correct me if I am wrong or may have missed something):
1. Group name - we settled for QL FILIPINO EX-PATS
2. Group forums:
Legal matters (ex. getting visas, etc) - to be coordinated by Jammy and Treysdad
Sports and Arts - to be coordinated by walterdane and scorpio27. Bowling and Billiards was suggested as the first sports activity.
Coffee corner - to be coordinated by jaxs13. Next week we will have our first "coffee corner"
Socials/Fashion (like meeting venue, logistics) - to be coordinated by apple and junarc.
3. Group meeting schedule - it was suggested to continue the momentum started by this first kitakits with a weekly "coffee corner" and a monthly activity (not necessarily dinner). Suggested activities include: tree-planting, walking/jogging along the corniche, karaoke/videoke night, movie night, etc.. suggest any activity that would keep the camaraderie moving forward.
4. Create also a yahoogroup - walterdane volunteered to set this up.
5. Birthday corner - let's celebrate a member's birthday.
That's all I have written down.

Here's what happened (kitakits 2) ...Picked up Jaxs13 and Edna; went to the place and by 7;30PM...still no one's in sight. They came in from the other gate...nyehehehe
And ang lola ang bumangka...hihihi.
Everything was discussed, from the name of the group to the Kapehan sa Kanto to the next get-together's activities. It was a concensus na billiards or bowling or fishing naman.
The picture proves that it was a success and this is all because of you guys....
I just wish the others could join us by next time...
