Introduction to Welding
Mondays and Wednesdays
January 28th to April 1st, 2013
5:30pm - 8:30pm
Cost: QR 3000 (includes materials)

This course will introduce you to basic welding knowledge and practice. You will learn how to work safely while welding, cutting and heating, and operating tools in a shop environment. In addition, you will learn and practice manual heating and thermal cutting using oxy-acetylene equipment, and perform shielded metal arc welding.

Participants are required to provide protective footwear. Gloves, coats and protective eyewear will be provided by the College.

-All instruction is in English
-Students must be 18 years or older
-Class commencement is subject to sufficient enrollment
