Qatar Summer Festival (QSF) will run for more than twice its usual length in the upcoming fourth edition. Held under the theme "Colour Your Summer", QSF is a nationwide festival that celebrates the country's family entertainment, retail and hospitality offerings.

Festival Objectives

- Showcase Qatar’s unique urban and family entertainment offerings

- Energise hospitality and retail sectors during a typically off-peak period

- Increase private sector’s participation in diversifying Qatar’s tourism offering

Festival Duration: Thursday, 22nd June* – Tuesday, 5th September

Shopping promotions begin June 22nd

*All other QSF activations begin June 25th (TBC based on first day of Eid Al-Fitr)

77 Hotels and Hotel Apartments* are participating in this year’s Festival, offering exciting accommodation packages, including:

Entertainment City at DECC

The QSF centerpiece and family favourite returns this year with more than 35 rides, an inflatable obstacle course, skill games, video games, live entertainment shows, 24 food court outlets & 8 pop-up shops.

Shopping Promotions

Where: Dar Al Salam, Ezdan Mall, Gate Mall, Gulf Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Mall of Qatar, Lagoona Mall & Landmark Mall

- Retailers at participating malls will offer discounts of up to 50% and other promotions

- Live entertainment shows

For every QAR 200 spent at any of the participating outlets in these malls, shoppers can be part of the Mega Raffle Draw being held on the final day of QSF (5th September) and have a chance of winning 10 exciting cash prizes and a super luxury car.

Live Entertainment: Stand-up comedy shows (cancelled)

American superstar comedian Marlon Wayans is set to bring roars of laughter to audiences in Qatar this Eid.

Doha Comedy Festival returns this QSF with a special showcase event. More information will be announced in the coming weeks.

Live Entertainment: Music Concerts

QSF will also feature music concerts by famous Khaleeji singers, Mohamad Abdo and Nawal Al Kuwaitiyah, courtesy of key QSF Partner and the Arab World's largest entertainment company, Rotana Group.

Competitions & Championships

For the first time ever in Qatar, video game players from across the GCC will come together for a face off under one roof for the GCC Majors Competition.

Dates: 30th June – 1st July (Friday & Saturday)

Venue: Qatar National Convention Centre

Games: Street Fighter, Takken 7, The King of Fighters (KOF), BlazBlue, Super Smash Bros. 4 & Super Smash Bros. Melee

Entertainment City will also host the 4th International Mindsports Championship bringing 1,500 mindsports enthusiasts from over 40 different countries.

Dates: 19 – 27 August

Venue: Doha Exhibition and Convention Center

Mindsports include: Scrabble, Chess, Backgammon, Bridge, Go & eSports
