ALI BIN ALI QATAR OPEN BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP

Qatar Badminton Association’s first tournament of the year will be conducted from 31st May to 7th June 2012. The events would be held in Al Arabi sports club. The Championship is being conducted in such large scale in Qatar where participants range from Under the age 10 to Veteran’s Category for both male and female. Going by past tournament more than 400 school children and more than 200 senior players across various schools and different nationalities in Qatar are set to participate in different categories of this tournament.

Preliminary matches : 31st May to 4th June (5 days)
Finals : 5th June to 7nd June (3 days)
Venue : Al-Arabi Volleyball facilities
Events : 25 in total

Categories
Juniors :Under 10 years, 10 to Under 13 years, 13 to Under 16 years, 16 to Under 19 years Boys, Girls (Singles & Doubles)

Senior's:Men's Singles, Men's Doubles (Group A & B) , Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Veteran's Singles, Veteran's Doubles

Entry forms along with scanned copy of proof of age and valid RP should be submitted before 20th of May 2012 by email to badminton/-a-t-/olympic.qa or by hand delivery at the reception of Qatar Squash Federation at Khalifa Tennis Complex or at Qatar Badminton Club.
