Doha Film Institute and Qatar Tourism Authority have embarked on an ambitious mission of producing an unprecedented documentary using thousands of user submitted video content last year.
The efforts produced a beautiful film – ‘Dari Qatar’ – featuring personal journies of people in Qatar through their own perspective.
#DariQatar, which means 'My Home Qatar' in Arabic, is the visual narrative of the nation presented entirely through the eyes of the people who call Qatar home.
Submitted entries had to cover 6 broad themes of joy, adventure, family, traditions, friendship and uniquely Qatar which, which formed the narrative of the film.
After enjoying a fantastic community-based red carpet premier event in December 2016, the film has had various special screenings within Qatar and abroad.
Now the film is finally online on Doha Film Institute's YouTube channel for everyone to watch and enjoy.
