Lets meet!

Hey guys i'm new here in Qatar just got relocated for a new job. I think its hard to meet lebanese friends here in qatar and it would be great to get together for a nice lunch or dinner or a drink maybe. I think meeting each other will help each one of us extend his social network and enjoy the country more.

Whose up for it?

Cheers

Looking for Accomodation

hello, I am looking for accomodation in Bin Omran, I am currently in Lebanon waiting to get my Visa, and I should be in Qatar in the next 2 weeks, I have no one I know there to help me out to settle down, the company I am going with does not have an Office in Qatar, I am going as an Outsouring Personnel to work in Dafna.

I did some search and found that Bin Omran is close to Dafna and it has shops and markets to live properly.

hope anyone can help me out or provide me with some information.

Thank you in advance all

21 February,International Mother language Day.

The UNESCO designated February 21st as the International Mother Language Day to be observed globally in recognition of the martyrs who fought to establish the rightful place of Bangla language. The proclamation was unanimously adopted in November 1999 through a resolution at the plenary meeting of the UNESCO at its headquarters in Paris. The resolution declared that, ‘21st February is proclaimed as International Mother Language Day to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this very day in 1952’.

Saudi council of Muftis have given an unanimous Fatwa long time ago that RING TONES ON QURAN AAYATH are HARAMM because the AAYATH are not complete when we pick the phone and meanings of AAYAT changes when they are not complete. QURAN is for Hidayat and not for ring tones. Please inform others

KINDLY PASS THIS MSG TO OTHER MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS AS WELL BE ADVISED

Nothing bad will happen if you don't forward this but these points are important and it is our duty to educate our brothers and sisters.
Don't say "Mosque" say always Musjid
because islamic organization has found that's mosque = mosquitoes

Don't write "Mecca" write always correctly Makkah
because Mecca = house of wines

Don't write "Moh'd" write always completely as Muhammad

Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad al Yaqubi Dismissed....

This is the english translation of the speech where Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad al Yaqubi spoke about the grand mufti of Syria. Please refer to sacred knowledge website for more information.
Upon Refuting The Mufti Of Syria In A Friday Speech, Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi Is Dismissed From His Job In Damascus.

In defence of the Prophet Muhammad, Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi delivered this past Friday a speech rebuking the Mufti of Syria, Shaykh Ahmad Hassoun, for his scandalous blasphemy against the Prophet. He also demanded that the Mufti resign and leave public service out of embarrassment and shame before his Lord Allah and the Prophet.

You May Already Be There

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.
A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long." they answered in unison.

"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families

"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives.
In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs.

We have a full life."
The tourist interrupted,
"I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you!

SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART.

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation.

Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year.
I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
Love, Dad
………

Shortly, the old man received this telegram:

“For Heaven’s sake, Dad,don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!” At 4a.m.
