Trade-in scheme for Mac users

Qatar’s leading Apple premium reseller iSpot has launched a new scheme enabling Apple users to trade-in their old versions for a new machine.

This is the first time that this concept has been introduced in Qatar for Apple Computers, iSpot said.

iSpot, part of Ali Bin Ali Group, has been a catalyst of Apple technology in the market for the last two years.

Since launch of iSpot two years ago, the brand today has successfully become the ‘leading Apple Store’ in Qatar.

Through the new trade-in campaign, Mac users can now ‘easily upgrade to the latest generation Mac and also sell back their old machines to iSpot.’

Officially Registering Mac Users in Doha with Apple

Hi Mac Users,

I am officially registering the Mac Users in Doha group with Apple as we have reached more than 50 members as of this writing...76 to be exact.

Ultimately, it is with hope that we could create an active discussion group and interact with other group leaders to assist Doha Mac users with their respective concerns in using Mac and other Apple products.

There is a need for members with various posts (e.g. secretary, etc.), I just need 2 for the meantime, whom I could present as an alternative representative to the group.

PM me for those who are interested.

Cheers!

Power PC G5 - VRAM error

I have an old 4-year iMac G5 Power PC, and it just died. After doing a hardware test it appears that it had a VRAM error, and checking the discussion boards the logic board needs replacing. Does anyone know if I can get a new logic board at a reasonable price here in Doha?
