On Friday November 5, 2010, at 7:00 am, a very important environmental event will take place in Doha.
Clean Up Arabia 2010, an annual event spearheaded by the Emirates Diving Association.
The campaign aims to raise public awareness on the hazardous effects of marine debris to health and marine environment.
The clean up activity will cover land and underwater of the Sealine Beach at Messaid. A force of approximately 50 volunteers, divers and non-divers, are expected to participate. Volunteers are mostly individuals who take heart in this worthy cause.
Company volunteers, especially those who are situated in the coastlines or who have projects involving marine activities, are all welcome to join.
The earth is our home, it is our responsibility… we can make a difference.

My buddy is flying back out to Florida in a few weeks leaving me without a diving buddy. It's not too smart to go out by yourself and I am now looking for a new partner. I know one or two spots myself, but am really interested in exploring some more areas. I've got all my gear and a capable 4wd vehicle.
