I saw a question about him on the Q & A forum and realised that people don't exactly know why he got so much hatred against him so thought I will clarify it here.

A lot of people think that Hindu fundamentalists are the only ones who hate Hussein for his stupid paintings about Hindu Gods, well I hate him as an Indian and not because I come from a Hindu family. His painting Rape of India is what pisses me off the most.

1. Representing India as a woman being raped, is nothing but terrible denigration. Showcasing her in this manner is highly outrageous and a completely unacceptable form of denigration.

Just saw Mahesh Manjerakar's Movie - City of Gold

Great Script, good direction taut story...Its a movie loosely based on the Pheonix Mill in Mumbai which has now become the Pheonix Mall.

Most of the sequences and scenes are from real life that had taken place....the stike by Datta Samant...the fire in the mill...the wide spread unemployment....the chawl...the characters in the chawl...the shooting scenes...the grocery store guy...the bandstand peeping tom...etc.

All Mumbaikars would easily identify every characters in the movie....as they would have met such a character in Mumbai.
