How to reduce the excess salt?

What is the best way to reduce the excess salt in any food items (curry or anything) we made...means by putting something or...any idea...?

If you put little lemon juice or little sugar will reduce the salt. Alternatively, you can put little coconut powder, this also will reduce the salt.

unfortunately that will only reduce the salt flavor, the salt content will still be there though.

As the old saying goes, you can always add salt, but you can't take it out. Season as you go and taste, it's the best way i find.

well, my mum said , if accidently u feel that the curry u are making is salty, put a dough ball(atta) in the curry and clover the curry pot for few minutes. the dough will take the salt from the curry and later u can take it out of the curry and throw.
