Map: Doha to Bahrain OR Khobar

Attached is the map I drew of the route to drive from Doha to Bahrain. It also shows how to get to Khobar or Jubail. The map is on four scanned papers because I wanted to include all the round-abouts and landmarks. The map needs some guidance.
Map 1
1) Cross Saudi/Qatar border.
2) Drive along Highway 85 past two (or more?) petro stations.
3) Go straight at the next large round-about. There are three ways to go at this round-about. Don't go right or left. Ignore any sign that says Highway 85 goes right. Going right leads to a confusing route with lots of turns.
Map 2
4) Go straight through the next round-about. Turning left will go to a small airport.
5) Turn left when this roads ends. It makes a T with a road which calls itself Highway 85. al-Battaliyya should be around there.
6) Turn right at a large interchange. Going straight leads to Riyadh. and left leads to Harad. This road you turn onto seems to be called both Highway 85 and Highway 10.
Map 3
7) Go straight along this road for awhile. Go straight throw a large intersection. It had nice flowers on it (as I recall).
8) Turn right at a large interchange. Don't go straight because this leads to Dammam.
9) This road curves to the left. Go straight through an interchange and onto the Causeway to Bahrain.
Map 4: For going to Jubail!

Helpful and resourceful! ...Mr. Paul,
We are both helpful and resourceful. Who can be the most helpful and resourceful? It's a race.
Hey, Mr. Paul, would you know where I could find a free online career & skills inventory?

Travelling time & jumpy drivers ...Mr. Paul, it looks like you or I could take on Nisha Ananth's question. Frankly, I don't recall exactly. Maybe 8 hours if you don't get lost or get caught in Bahrain-border. Both happened to me so I took about 10 hours. I went to Bahrain during Eid when the border crossing was stop-go for 2 hours.
Also, I've never seen so many cars jumping between lanes just to one spot ahead. I had several major fights (and collisions) with other drivers over them trying to get in front of me. This was because the car in front me had moved forward. These jumpy drivers are the one thing I'll remember about the Bahrain crossing during Eid. In has trained me to take on the Doha drivers who try to do the same thing from the shoulder of the road.

Mr. Paul......four hours? ...Mr. Paul......four hours? That's at warp factor 6. I take 2 hours just to get to the Saudi/Qatar border. Then another 4 or 5 hours to get to Bahrain. Maybe I exaggerated my spelling ability...hmmm...I mean the travelling time.

Well, ya know how the Qataris drive !!!! ...Over a year ago, i asked this question myself...
This is the answer i got from the lovely Gypsy...
"It's about 400 kms. My ...
It's
about 400 kms. My boyfriend does the drive in 2 and half hours, but
he's a Saudi, probably like 3 and half if you drive like a normal
person."
That is why i said about 4 hrs !!

Driving like a snail ...Oh I see. I drive like a snail. That is why I couldn't become Gypsy's bf.
dw sometimes wonders if I've alsleep at the wheel when I drive so slow.
