I would like to say my ...I would like to say my great pleasure of meeting everyone who attended the event, specially Treysdad and family, to Darude who highlighted the event in his presence that almost everyone were surprised to meet him, and at last i met him in person, after sometime of guessing and now i can have my reason not to attend the bowling brawl of the QL social group , Oh Mannnn, he's Tall! And I would like to special mention the effort of making and bringing the banner and personalized mugs for wraffle draw by Celia and Pids, and also to luckyjinx who also managed to prepare mugs with filexpat logo for all who came, and to be recognized the sweat of effort of Qatar Idol and his gang gals, Pj and Shane and mike pusa, for shopping and wrapping all those sparkling prizes, and the stars of the events, Our very own, Cygnet, Kingedshel,Vegas and Lady Di who rendered a beautifully voiced song and Dance.
I would like to acknowledge also the efforts of the Gangs who brought Sweet Malagkits such as Palitaw ni Tates, Sapin-sapin ni Tresdad and Treysmom, Biko ni Cygnet and the fruit salad of Lovinni, (hinde ko natikman, ulitin ulit pwede?)
Sa mga nahihiya kaya hinde nakasama, next time, wag na kayong mag-isip, magsick leave agad, he he, si LOLA talaga, naughty, eh ano, minsan lang naman eh...
The truth is I really enjoyed the event, kayo ba hinde? Once again, i felt i was just as young as you all... it is really nice to mingle with younger ones, HA HA, ( hinde nila alam kalaro nila LOLA )
Next time , coz there is always next time, we shal do it in more sophisticated way, wika nga, at least, now we proved what is it in an event like this.. so ngayon palang magresearch na kayo kung saan ang next venue dahil sigurado, marami na tayo...

great party... ...hmmmm... sounds like you folks know how to party! well in future you can organize weekly mini-events (easier to organize) having a more social relevance at the same time boring hehehe! well seriously, i hate seeing FILEX (or pinoys for that matter) members as an exclusive bunch of party people. it's good to see events that borders around "community service" apart from age old tradition of fiesta & karaoke... here are examples:
1. weekend trainings & seminars for free like english & computer courses to help admin staff to enhance their skills.
2. swap meet where folks can sell their personal items or swap them w/ other filex members. back home we call this "one man's treasure".
3. outback bbq. how about grill on the dunes?
4. fund raising event like auctions ie. books, collectibles, etc... the funds can help our co-filipinos in distress. you'll always find one at the phil embassy "runaway housing". it's a small porta-cabin at the embassy grounds where runaway maids seek shelter...
etc etc etc... well its up to your creativity folks.
treysdad, anything in your calendar about this? suggestions?

We enjoyed the party - the ...We enjoyed the party - the games,food, and everything was properly organized and excellent! Thanks to all committee members, sa lahat ng nagdala ng sweets and nagbigay ng souvenirs Luckyjinx and Celia salamat ng marami, kahit di tayo nanalo sa games oks lang kasi nadagdagan na naman ang mug collections ko.
Hope more attendees on the next event para mas masaya!

hmmm... Love the cake! ...I arrived late last Friday because I came from a baptismal party where I am one of the sponsors. I met wonderful members of FILEX.... I also had the opportunity to meet mariam mar... Nice meeting you po! I really love the cake! At first I was a little bit hesitant to have it (maybe because I dont wanna ruin the FilEx Logo). King Edshel gave me a good cut of the cake, I consumed it in just one sitting... Thanks KE! Takaw ko!

Hi ...Hi everybody!!!!! In behalf of Program committee i would like to say Thank you to all of you, without your support we will not able to make the 1st FilExpat Anniversary memorable. Eventhough the preparation is in just a short period of time. The next event will be more fun & entertaining. There is a lot of Filipino talented here in Qatar. Im planning to build a group of hip hop dancer, belly dancer or any kind of step. If you are interested to join ,pls. do not hesitate to contact me thru PM. So that on the next event we will have more choices for entertainment. Who knows this coming December, we gonna have a big event for Christmas Party. But it's all depend to our QL daddy & mommy (Treysdad & Treysmom).

Lovinni, sangkatutak pa yung mga abubot namin, kasi madedemilish na dito, i just can't throw anything of house stuffs, dahil sisirain din so, pati nga mga tiles sa banyo kung pwede, kuhanin ko HE HE, mag-isa lang ako 'no, ako lahat ang nagaayos at nag-iempake sa mga gamit at mga damit ng mga anakko, mga arabo sila, hinde maasahan para tumulong sa packing, but whether we like it or not, we should be gone here by June 1st, that's our deadline to stay here. I will miss all the nearby resto and stores here in Al Nasr Area, because our new place is so far from everything Whaaaaa!
Luckyjinx, soon when you come to my place, i will give you that one and maybe if you are not delicadesa, i can give more stuffs not just that...
Owen, i don't see any extra fat in that body, it's well placed and just a little maintenance and everything's ok, don't overdo oolong, see me. i stopped for a month now but still slimming down. I was 65 kg before, now 57 kg. and i eat without control..

Alec, to go back schooling again is more pressure to workers, your suggestion is good, but it is already been done and it is for those only who wanted to widen their knowledge. While sociallizing is enhancing the mental and physical ability to forget loneliness, I want to name the Filexpat group as a Big Family. This group was organized, in helping other kababayans in a social way... SOCIALLLL Dong!
If you scroll all the postings in the Filexpat group,many kababayans were helped.

I made to order the cake in ...I made to order the cake in Bateel Bakery in Salwa Road, but there are many bateel outlets too. I was worried that the flavor and the decoration will not come up to youngsters taste, he he! Thank goodness at naubos...
