sorry i dun know.Cip tak pernah dapat gaji pun kat sini. Cip bawak apa yg cip fikir munasabah utk di gunakan dalam masa 3 bulan jer.

I know the service for Western Union here is ridiculous but if you have ti use you have to use.....

The best I think is HSBC coz kat Mesia pun ada. Buat satu account Kat Mesia and tinggal kan ATM kad pada yang tersayang di mesia. buat interbank transfer jer kut ...mungkin lagik rendah fees nyer. Tapi Cip tak tau laaah coz i dun use the facilities pun

This is a very interesting topic...
I belum lagi menjejakkan kaki lagi ke bumi arab, tapi insyaallah, mungkin, hujung bulan depan..
I agree with Cip, someone also told me the same thing..kalau guna HSBC Doha and buat money withdrawal kat mesia lebih kurang QR16 per transaction (lebuh kurang le!)...
kalau HSBC Doha transfer to HSBC mesia, kurang pasti pula berapa charge nyer...tapi yg surenye..tak derlah se-ridiculous as Western Union..
lagi satu, kalau nak transfer duit, jgn banyak2 sangat, setakat yg perlu je, takut nanti Bank Negara tanya..

For me..I bukak HSBC...sebab kat Qatar ada kat Msia pon ada....tp tak ada guna sgt la.... melainkan kalo u all nak bukak Premier Account....hahhaha gila... kena ada USD100k at all time dlm acc tu nak bukak....so I bukak current acc sebab I rasa itu yg terbaik la bg diri saya.... sebab nanti2 nak bukak Premier Acc senang.....insyaAllah....

Current account x de beza sgt kalo dibandingkan dgn saving account... beza dia....current acc dpt check book & bolh overdraft....itu aje... kalo salah tolong betulkan ye....

Kalo nk trf duit pulak....my advise jgn guna Western Union...menyesal nanti....haha.. ada dua option....

(1)From HSBC Doha to HSBC Malaysia:
QR52 - thru internet by yourself (per transaction & no limit)
QR75 - thru counter (per transaction & no limit)

(2)From HSBC Doha to any other bank in Malaysia:
QR52 - thru internet by yourself (per transaction & no limit)
QR75 - thru counter (per transaction & no limit)

.....so ... option #2 lebih best gua rasa.....sbb gua pakai mabank kat msia....bleh control on9...

Sekian....

Mine fund transfer is from QNB to Maybank. Previous months over-the-counter transactions. Cost: QR65 per transfer. From this month, via internet. Much cheaper and less hassle. Am quite happy with QNB so far...... for some people, QNB might mean Quite Nasty Bank.... but every bank has it's plus and minus I suppose. Western Union?... Forget it unless urgent transfer is required.

Awat takut sangat kat Bank Negara? BNM is particularly concerned with two Acts of Parliament: Banking And Financial Institutions Act 1989 (or BAFIA) and Anti Money Laundering Act 2001 (or AMLA). So, as long as the monies obtained in a foreign country are not illegal in nature, or remitted to Malaysia to launder (layman's term is "to clean the money"), which includes any attempt to do it, we certainly do not fall into restrictions of either Act. So, please make your millions here are send them home!

The Income Tax Act is another important factor. Generally for salary earners working abroad, we do not have to worry about taxation on remittance of monies earned overseas and theoretically, it includes monies obtained illegally although it is then captured under BAFIA and AMLA.

If we live and work in Malaysia, and receive incomes (say rent, dividends, etc.) from our overseas investments, then we are subject to tax unless the incomes are taxed in the country of origin and provided Malaysia has signed a Dual Tax Agreement (DTA) with that country, in which case, the incomes are only taxed at source.

OK, QR500 for every Malaysian who reads my advice... this is my fee for legal advice... and I won't have to pay tax on it. LoL

Arraya,

Insyallah klu ada rezeki saya pun nk ke sana in few months time. Tentang transfering money from HSBC Qatar to HSBC Mlysia, kita bukak account kat HSBC Qatar ke siang2 kita bukak kat Mlysia sebelom gi?

OrangKedah's picture

OrangKedah said razifk.... ...

You can open an account with ANY bank in Qatar, not necessarily with HSBC to transfer money back to Malaysia. I transfer mine from QNB to Maybank in Maalysia via theInternet. Costs only QR42.50 per transaction. It's cheap, convenient and fast. Before you come to Qatar, please go to your bank (whichever bank you are using now) and get their "SWIFT" code. Just ask them and they will give you the 8-character code. You might need this code when you remit money to Malaysia.

No problem, jangan takut.

OrgKedah

I went to QNB counter and tried to transfer QAR to MYR, tapi dia kata tak support only USD or some other currencies but not MYR. Camana hang transfer tuh? Tried the EazyInternet too and again they don't give MYR as an option for the beneficiary accounts. Unless hang ada USD account on-shore in Malaysia then boleh kot.

Anyways, teman sedia mendengar any suggestion for a hassle free transfer - and at a good rate too!

Memang dia akan tukark ke USD. Duit RM depa tak recognise kot. Tapi jangan risau, USD 1 = QR 3.6502. So, depa tukark direct. Baru berbaloi hantark balik banyak-banyak.

So, easy payment kat Internet pon sama..... hang try semak tukaran USD dgn QR dalam forex QNB. (Actually it is fixed at 3.6502). Kemudian, proceed...

OrangKedah

Terima kasih bebanyak no.. so hentam USD je kat beneficiary account tu la, lepaih tu harap USD:MYR is in your favour. Tapi klu gitu kena dua kali la... komisyen tukat USD then komisyen tukar MYR.

Wallahu'alam bissawab...

OrangKedah's picture

OrangKedah said OrgKayEl... ...

Memang komisyen kena hentam dua kali, tapi apa boleh buat. Oh ya by the way, terlupa habark itu hari.... Malaysian Ringgit is no more tradeable overseas since 1998 (Asian Financial crisis). It pasai kita kena convert ka USD dulu.

keno_91276 said pasal cert dan transfer duit ...

Salam semua,
Pasal cert tu, saya cuma buat LOGC dan chop kat Qatar embassy. Itu aje. Sijil lain cuma translate dan certified true copy. Kalau banyak duit boleh la pergi chop kat embassy tu..

Pasal xfer duit tu, ada kawan saya kata dia guna UAE xchange. Ok gak. Masa kat KSA dulu saya guna Tahweel AlRahji dia convert gak dari SAR ke USD dulu. Rugi pun x banyak mana sebenarnya. Caj pun murah SAR25 aje.. Tapi kalau guna bank terima gaji saya rasa better. Senang nak trace balik.

Cuma masih doubt pasal loan keta aje. Saya dah check melalui website, rasanya dari buat loan keta lebih baik buat personal loan. Buat terus banyak dan guna utk beli keta, bayar hutang mesia dan standby utk emergencies..
apa pendapat org lain...

Saya budak baru belajar...kalau salah tolong tunjukkan
