Help Help....Exit permit crisis
am employee of XYZ company having office outside Qatar.I am posted at Qatar & working for XYZ,but I hold RP of ABC-Local agent.
I have resigned from XYZ company and want to exit from Qatar forever.
Now XYZ company has stopped my salary and asking me to pay heavy amount for unknown/baseless reasons. Also XYZ company has instructed ABC company not to issue exit permit for emergency also.
Officially my employment contract is with Qatari-ABC company. I want to have my last salary and want to go back to my homecountry from Qatar. There is no legal bond/Agreement/Contract with XYZ company.
I have performed all my duties to the perfection and dont have any liabilites or dues whatsoever in Qatar which will prevent me for going out of Qatar.
Please advice your comments/help based on your knowledge & experiences....

resign ...since you have the contract with ABC qatar co. u have to submit ur resignation to this co. and give them the notice period mentioned in their contract. you will take all ur rights + ticket if u r eligible to. Or if there is any subcontract between ABC and XYZ then u can submit ur papers to to labor dept. after the notice period is over, after the notice period they have no right to keep u one sec. good luck

Victim... ...I just read this now as I wasnt able to visit here in the past few days...
Hope you have an exit permit now.... do you?
If still you don't, please dont waste time to call the Human Rights Council at 4444012...
I was told that you can get an exit permit from them if your present employer by any reason doesnt want to give one... for the passport, let the CID get it for you from your employer...

victim ...Go to Human rights or Labour court they will listen to you. There is always way to get back to this stupid employeer. Never fear when you're right. They have no rights to stop you from going home. Human rights is along Salwa Road pass Jarir Store or if they say you have to go to Labour Court it's along C-Ring Road.
