snorkeling: where?
Hello,
is there a beach suitable for snorkeling in Qatar, thus with actually something to see under water?
Advances question: Is there such beach that is accessible without 4x4, thus with a normal sedan and maybe a few meters walking?
if not, is it possible to rent a boat a skipper for a few hours for a snorkeling trip? A huge dhow would be too big for just two persons, and we don't need any dinner or lunch prepared. Any suggestions?

you can go to Fuwayrit in the north side of the counrty.. I usually go there for spear fishing and I really like this place.
and also you don't need a 4x4 car to go there, but you have to be careful there.
if you like to go there on any friday just tell me and I will guide you to the exact root ;)

Fridays ...Mohad4ever, not sure if it is an open invitation but I would be very interested in visiting Fuwayrit for snorkeling on a Friday. Not sure if you are doing this during Ramadan, but I would be very appreciative if you were able to show me your spot after Ramadan. Thanks. And what exactly do you have to be careful there for? Getting bogged or dangers in the water?

cheers Joe, went up there ...cheers Joe, went up there last weekend for a look. Took the goggles and flippers, water was a bit murkey but not many fish also. But love the spot just the same will be back again for sure. Cheers
