Transfer Between Government Departments
Hey All,
Anyone here know anything about a suspension of transfers between government departments? A friend said that in one of the papers last week there was an article that said transferring between gov't posts had been suspended. Anyone recall that article?

GUMBY, I think it's enforced already ...A friend of mine that I used to work with in Karwa was able to land a job in an OIL & GAS company. The person did all the formalities and already started working for the new company when the CID came in and said that it's not possible. So, he almost got deported back to his country. Good thing, his manager in Karwa was able to get him his job back.
I think job transfer from goverment to another government is not allowed...though i think it would also depends on what the position is or nationality...
