Wooooow that was gr8 ...

Tell me what are the setting u used for that

I mean the F stop and shutter speed ..

I've been facing a prob. on how to make an oobject totally black with an orange back ground ..

I thought that if it's better to use fast shutter speed with larger aperture to prevent the photons record on the sensor ... but it didn't work???

may i know the technique ??

My Photographing:

I used this settings:

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/13
Focal Length: 18 mm
Exposure Bias:

4/3 EV

But you can play around with smaller aperture up to f16 depends really on your personal preference and this would vary in different lighting situation. Basically I use a smaller aperture to create that effect and back lighting..so there is that silhouette effect

With regards to the brown filter, since I don'nt have with me during that time and it was too quick, I place a filter on the image in the photoshop during post process and adjust a little bit the contrast which i rarely do.   I only do this when I feel I like to play or explore photoshop.

If you want to see other photos as your reference you can click on the images and look for the camera properties on the lower right side of the page "more properties" after you click on the image: link to other images for your reference - http://www.flickr.com/photos/georgebermeo/sets/72157604557683147/

Here is a good example why I use small APERTURE to create that effect on the photo:

The only post process applied on the image is addition of the watermark and removing of some spots on the image due to dirts on the lense.
