Anybody knows?
There are these two gardens in and around Doha. Does anybody have any information? I tried search on QL but could not find.
Garden 1. This garden is supposed to be Near Landmark Mall. I heard that there is a crater created due to a Meteorite. Anybody knows? Please help.
Garden 2. This garden is somewhere near Meisaeed Or mid-way between Wakrah to Meisaeed.
I would like to know the routes to these gardens so that I could visit one of it during this weekend!!!!!!

The one near landmark ... if you pass landmark on your left ... the next round-about on the right hand side (just before the round-about) there is a park. The park is very nice with kiddies playground in it. But i havent been over 2 yrs now. Cant remember the name though.

the park that Novi ...the park that Novi mentioned above is a family park. you will be allowed entry if you go there with yr wife and kid/s. once DH and DS went to the park (i stayed home as i was tired) when they got to the entrance the guard told them that it is a family park, so my DH said that DS is his son (DS is a teenager and tall )the guard laughed at them and still refused them entry thinking that these 2 blokes are 2 single men going to the park which is meant for families only.

yes i know novi but what ...yes i know novi but what can we do but just abide by it.......
wanna share another story abt ;'family day at landmark mall. one thursday DS broght some of his pals over after school , so in the evening after tea the boys wanted to go hang out at landmark mall. so i brought all 5 boys with me to landmark and at the entrance we were stopped. so the guard says today is 'familyday; and i say yes i know.......he asked who these 5 boys were and i say 'ah my children...(mind you all 5 were of 5 diff nationals and thank god too they are of diff heights and sizes.....lol)and the guard was in disbelief and i told him 'yes all my children " the guard says why all different color ?i say 'different color because i have 5 husbands!.....(hehehehehehhehe) and before he could get over his shock we walked in fast before he could recover and start thinking.........lol
i left the boys there and went out the other entrance at the end of the mall and i came to pick the kids after 3 hrs. they had a good time at the movies and at the ice cream parlor too..........hehehhehhehheeh

See, while coming from ...See, while coming from cornich to that long 100 speed limit road. U have to take left from round-about. And first right turn and again right turn to enter in a park.(Im talking about that round-about from which u take straight for landmark)

shreeya ...Are you talking about "traynor gardens", the spelling may be incorrect but it shows on the maps of Qatar between Salwa Road and the Inland Sea if I remember correctly.
If you are, it's somewhere left off the road way past the customs post on the Salwa Road and miles from anywhere.
We visited it a long time ago (maybe 20+ years) and there was nothing there only a few camels.
