salary increase
can please give us some advise about this salary increase here in qatar,, we heard this inceament is inflement already, but in our company till now their not informing the employees about this matter!!!can pls give some details what is this all about,, because this is big deal about us,, specially those who have very low salary!!thank u very much!!

You should ask your employer ...You should ask your employer representatives or any respective personal responsible for this matter. They my not answer your question right away, but at least you'll get some explanation.

Any decent ...company will review employee salaries and award some sort of salary increase based on performance. This constitutes a means of encouraging it's workforce to maintain a high standard of effort and skill.
These awards should be in addition to cost of living increases.

xendrix, do we / maybe we both work for the same company ...here some of the local sponsors know that you cannot change your sponsor or company. Hence they do not bother about increments, or even if there is an increment, it is insignifant. It is like, take it or leave it, and if you leave the country, you cannot come back for 2 years. Sometimes you cannot leave as you need an exit to leave the country.
You can complaint at the labour department, but who wants to rattle the system or grapewine that gives you your allowance every month.
