Engraver in Doha
Does anyone know of an engraver or trophy shop in Doha? I've gone to the souq, the tourist stores, the stationary shops, the bookstores and of course I cannot find anyone to make an engraved name plate for my office.
Why is shopping such a chore in this town? I tried to find aspirin as Carrefour yesterday and they looked at me like I was from another planet. I guess its far too much to ask a grocery/all in one store actually have aspirin or tylenol!!

They don't know what aspirin or tylenol is ...You have to ask for pain reliever or fever reducer. I always buy several bottles of Tylenol and bring them back from the states with me each summer (along with all my other favorite over the counter medications). One suitcase seems to be partway filled with drugs. It's a pain, but makes life easier in the long run.

Panadol is the local equivalent.... ...They all have something called parasetomal (sorry about the spelling, I doubt I got it right), but they are all roughly equivalent....when I have a headache and can't finf Tylenol, I ask for Panadol.

you have to visit souq faleh or the shop hmm thexonic knows better he is there the engraver.

I assume ...that Olympic Sports still deal in trophies and engraving.
If Tayeb is still working for them, he is an excellent engraver and did literally hundreds of trophies for me without a problem.
