Disagree.... ...The only thing they have in common is less money/buying power for the average consumer.
Taxation is revenue for the goverment (theoretically the cost of the services they provide their citizens)....while inflation is the overall increase in cost of goods and services across the entire economy (not just the goverment's revenues, but their costs go up as well).

Very true Ashfaq.... ...Unfortunately for us (the common consumer), there are MANY ways in which we could be negatively affected by governemt fiscal policy, economic activity, or even just normal market cycle adjustments....c'est la vie.
