TRIP TO ZIKREET,QATAR-a place to be discover
Anybody from here had been to Zikreet?
Zikreet, where the formations of natural landscapes of rock formation can be found. I saw a lot of pictures from the other sites which open up my curiosity to see the place in real.

i have some querries to know prior to my visit.
1> Does anyone could suggest what are the necessary things to prepare, does it need a 4x4 wheels to reach the place?
2> Is the the camping allowed or would it be safer to do camping overnight?
3> are there any sporting facilities there to rent on? or should need bring your own sporting stuffs?

Been There ...I went once, by the road I take theres no need of 4x4 but maybe u will need to access other places... Looks very nice. U can have a nice view of the bay from the right side of the place.

You can get to the beach ...You can get to the beach without a 4x4 butif you want to explore the more remote areas further up the peninsula then you will need one. When i went there were quite a few people camping and fishing from small boats they had brought along with them. Its a beautiful place to go and i will definitly be going camping there in the near future.

West Side... ...Take the road to Dukhan, which is the west side of Qatar. When u drive after 30 -45 minutes you will see a sign that says Zikreet o Zekreet, Zekrit Cant remember the exact name.
