Grouch !!
Hi would appreciate your help.I have been given an initial offer and apart from the basic salary and allowances they have given a monthly allowance called 20% CSA.Is this standard and can it be taken away in the future? Thanks for the massive amount of useful info that is available on the site. Hope to be in Qatar soon!

Allowances ...are just that. They can be removed but many companies won't remove them, others may.

Is it cost of living? ...allowance. Mine was lowered after one year, even though prices of goods had risen. Still trying to figure that one out.
