Ministry of Sound in Qatar

Had to make a choice and chose MoS at the Diplomatic Club over Beach Party 2 at the InterCon. BP2 sounded like it would be an outdoor adventure and the weather this time of year can be unbearable.

MoS - Got to the door a little before 9 pm (official start time) and was told the doors would not open until 9:30 pm. After over half an hour, swimming in my sweat, I was glad to see the doors open (the venue was in the tent just outside the gate). I was pleasantly greeted by A/C (the saving grace of this part of the world). So I am guessing that the MoS scene was more conducive to dancing than BP2.

To sum it up, the vibes were great, the DJs very professional the sound stage was 'rave-esque' (good lights and sounds) and the dance floor was packed.

BTW - Have seen any other posts on QL. There was a lot of hype on the 'run up', any other QLers make it?
