Sami al-Hajj has returned to Doha
Anybody make it out to the receptions welcoming Sami al-Hajj back last night? I thought it was great the government sponsored an event in the park, inviting the whole country.
I snapped a picture of Sami with Al Jazeera English correspondent Hoda Abdel Hamid (above) at the Doha airport ministerial lounge after he arrived.
Safdar also had some great footage (below) from the celebration at the park.

yeah omarc ...the gulf times missed such a major event. all they know is to cut and paste from other news papers. pathetic....
