220v. like the UK with ...220v. like the UK with similar wall outlets. The US uses 120v.

I want to know if Qatar ...I want to know if Qatar looks like the technically advanced countries or not. I might also want to get some products from there in the future.

Bbksiu ...No the power system in Qatar is not quite as advanced as the UK or the US … they'll get there eventually.
As for buying product from abroad be careful because, as e46 said, in the US they operate at a different voltage level and they have a different frequency as well.
