Contract Breeched
Please, I need help. I have been tossed between my company from abroad and the Qatar job here in Doha. I was not provided an expeditor and have been on a wild chase, trying to get my residency visa since October. I am sub-contracted out to the Qatar organization, who is supposed to be my sponsor. Neither parties knew how to acquire my residency visa. After many months of stress and complaints, I am now being asked to resign. Not only do I not have the visa but the humiliation of working illegally and then forced to resign or I don't get home.
Do I have any laws here that will support me?

Contact the Canadian Embassy ...That would be a good place to start and they can advise. However the nearest one is in Kuwait that deals with Qatar and you can get their contact details from the web.
