Best Indian Schools in Doha
Hi,
I am planning to shift doha in first week of august. very anxious about good indina schools for my two daughters ( class 8th and 2nd). could you please suggest me some good indian schools. are there extra curricular activities in these schools. which school is best from acedemics point of view.
shall be grateful for your kind advise. how is the admission process there. is it easy to get thru good school or there is an issue.
very anxious .please help. can i take admission from here. schools are not responding to mail.

Indian schools - pompous ? academic ? ...lav_lee said the 4 major Indian schools.
there are pompous schools - who claim they train on swimming, horse riding etc etc... charging more fees.
also there are "middle class " looking schools - which always stand in flying colours , when the Public examination results are declared.
It is up to you - how you would like to project yourself ? middle classs ? or - - - -

I thought... ...I thought MES and Ideal were "middle class schools".
Anyway, there are quite a few Indian schools in Qatar, but not much difference in terms of quality of education ! Some are better in some areas, and others in other areas - thats all... And of course, some of them charge higher fees !

even if i did my education in MES.... i donot prefer you to make ur child feel the hell lot harrasments provided in MES .... well its having name ....but soon its going down ..... MES is now first in everything except careerr..... inside they fight ...managment .. teachers for insentives... still no progress.... so for a better choice i say DMIS ..becuase u pay yearly fees and their the teachers know better about your child..... Your get time to mingle with teachers.... special care is done... in MES tooo its there but they do this only for name sake ...... they are getting pised due to the stay and then they bring in their family and again to feed all of them they donot have cash and they dumb their wives into the same school as teachers....no some one who has degreee in geography is teaching urdu or hindi language.... someone who is accounts graduate is the vice - principal ....so wats happening is the point to be noted......no proper care will be their ...yes there will be only if ur child is gud .... and good scorer.... they will be nice...other wise they will piss ur child offf and to the then .... he will have no aims and no life......
Telling u this becuase i was born and bought up here ...i am 22 years old and left school but still i go there i got connections with children and teachers...... but to the inside i keep myslef updated....
Teachers having problems with each other.... main thing is EGO.... u will never find ur son happy .... daughter i donot know becuase i got frineds their but i rarly talk to them on anything like this .......
i donot want to get into porblems... but this is frank..... names come up to thos students where they donot have intrest in school issues....
i even have heard best boys getting worse and worst gurls getting best.... and vice versa but it only happens when their is an affair.... LOVE and all that crapy stufff..... ok i donot mean its crapp.. but to that age of students..... i think YES.... effects studies life and everything.......
SO MAKE UR CHOICE............. I HEARD GUD MANAGMENT IN BIRLA.... and i did talk to sutdents theirr .....
SHANTHINIKETHAN IS ALSO GOOD..... WELL GUD BECUASE the main point is in MES and ideal indian school the number is more.... MES is scoring now 7500 children and is no joke .... almost 300 to 400 teachers..... do u think its possible for them to take care.....
this year there is no enough transport... so they stuff children into the bus .... frankly speaking and Ideal u got lot of unwanted porblem .... becuase gurls and boys are mixed and that and this ........ teachers are harrased ...the students got their freedom .. but now the world is so fast that the gurls and boys are missusing the freedom given .......
SO TAKE CARE.... UR CHOICE..........DONOT LISTEN TO ME .....THIS IS MY TURE EXPERIENCE.... BUT U HAVE TO MAKE THE DECESION........ U GOT A SOFT KID OR A HARD KID...... MAKE UR CHOICE FROM UR HEART.... COME HERE TALK TO THE KIDS IN SCHOOLL ..... U WILL KNOW BETTER....
BUT ONE THING >>WHEN TALKING, TALK TO ONE WHO IS IN SENIOR CLASS>>>>> AND NEVER ACT AS A PARENT AT AS SOME KIND OF EASY FEELING PERSON >>>>> THEY SHOULD THEY SHOULD TELL GUD ....... AND THE TRUE POINT .....

Academic point of view MES is best where they all churn out ...engineers and doctors (I believe its all based on 12th result)Ideal school is meant for failures, all MES failures join Ideal school. However wait for this year's result bcos Management of Ideal school has taken up a challenge and I am sure they will come with revenge, their cleansing dirt policy is working well though all the rowdies are not happy with the Principal's new programme.
MES and Ideal school are not for those students who are raised in better environment.
DPS and Birla school are better for higher income earning parents, DPS did well in this year's 10th board

DPS is much better......... ...Ideal is better than MES ....
But in most of the Indian schools well qualified & experienced teachers don't stay longer as they get a very low remuneration.....
that means extra effort for parents...
heard that DPS is doing much better than other schools & most of the teaching & learning is done /-a-t-/ the school itself .

As a parent I can vouch for ...As a parent I can vouch for Birla public school as one of the best schools. It even goes an extra mile by accomodating challenged children and has an excellent principal and a team of teachers.

best school doha ...Birla school was good till now, but gradually it is losing its value it generated in the first few years.
it has now more than 3000 children in just 5 acres land. no place for playgrounds. no place for fresh breath for children.

i too having confusion ...i too having this school confusion for my 4 yrs grandson my son and daughterinlaw took a round at Birla dps and dmis after going round to these school and by the information we decided for Dmis please if any of your child is in Kg 1 in Dmis please let me know is it correct decision for my grandson to take admission in Dmis

DMIS - STAFF EGOS - AND BUTTERING --TO STAY ...REGARDING DMIS IAM HAVING THE DIRECT EXPEREICENCE THAT ALL THE TEACHERS ARE NOT UP TO THE STANDARD. SOME OF THE TEACHERS ARE STAYING THERE THOSE WHO ARE VERY HARMFULL FOR CHEILDRENS , BUT STILL THERE ARE SURVIVING THRUGH MAKING HAPPY THE HIGHEER LEVEL TEACHERS LIKE PRINCIPAL SUPERVISOR ETC -- AND IT IS EFFECTING THE SMALL CHILDRENS TOO--- IT IS THE MANAGEMEN FAULT ---- THAT THEY MAY BE NOT KNOWING WHAT IS HAPPENING BETEWEEN THE TEACHERS.
