Looking for a Dive Buddy
Hey all,
My buddy is flying back out to Florida in a few weeks leaving me without a diving buddy. It's not too smart to go out by yourself and I am now looking for a new partner. I know one or two spots myself, but am really interested in exploring some more areas. I've got all my gear and a capable 4wd vehicle.

cool ...I haven't done any PADI certification though, nor do I have any sort of SCUBA gear. I go free diving and spearfishing though. From your comment, I'm guessing you use your SCUBA gear? How deep is the old reef club? I'm comfortable at depths up to 20meters.

I just have my trusty fins, ...I just have my trusty fins, spear gun, mask & snorkel, gloves and a weight belt. I'm thinking of getting a wetsuit sometime in the Winter when the water gets cooler, but I don't need one right now.
And again, no PADI certification, just free-diving mate. I drive up north and to the West coast a lot these days, seem to be more fish there than what I've seen in Khor Al-Udeid.
So, you're more into SCUBA eh?

Great! But heads up, if ...Great! But heads up, if you're looking to get into spear fishing, SCUBA gear is a big no no.
It wouldn't be fair to the fish using oxygen tanks and advanced weapons. I know one or two spots, haven't seen anything over 50cm though. If you like, feel free to give me a call sometime and we can have a look at some spear guns. I'll PM you my number.
