cost of living? can i survive?
gud day!
i just like to ask if i can live a normal life in qatar with this packages? i was hired at drake & scull int. qatar company here in the philippines, my visa is already here, im just waiting for my ticket then im set to go.... the company just offered me 1400QR basic salary with accomodation,transportation...etc.. as a data encoder, well only because i only have 1 1/2yrs experience as they say....
i have a sister working in qatar airways as a reservation officer, and ive already been there 2yrs ago as a tourist, i really wanted to go back and work,but im afraid that my salary will not be suitable for me to live there... what do you think?tnx

mababa.. ...salary amount per se is low. So if you're earning in the philippines 20T per month, stay there. but if you want to take chance of working abroad and you feel it there's a better opportunity here then grab it...

1400 with? ...nakupo kabayan sana 1400+ plus accommodation, transportation and meal allowance ok pa yan pero kung ang 1400with e... hirap po yan...

one more thing how many hrs in a day? dapat 8hrs lang ...is that plus overtime as additional? kung ang 1400 is basic pwedeng pagtiyagaan basta plus plus plus lahat iyong makukuha mo (transport/accomm/meal)

You're better off getting a job without allowances for 4,000-5,000/month. Then get a bedspace for 600/month and transportation for 400/month. This leaves you with 3,000-4,000 mnth

ah ganun po ba? ...ganun po ba? actually sbi nga po ng sister ko mababa, she advice me na pumunta na lang daw ulit dun as visit/tourist visa then hanap ako work dun... if ever po na ganun gawin ko mas ok po ba un kesa ung hired na ko d2 as my present situation... mas malaki ba chance na tumaas ung offer or mas mahirap po pag dyan ako maghanap ng work? tnx po ulit...
