Can anyone give me advice on visas please?
Specifically I would like to know if I got an offer from another company can I get my visa transferred. I know in the past that your present employer could prevent you from changing companies by not allowing the visa to be transferred. Has this changed?

You want "FREE" advises...
As what I know, at least you need to work for your employer not less than one year before you can resign or look for another employer. The only problem is if they will give you a release and a no objection letter. It all depends on your employer.
