Cycling In DOHA?
Hey everyone!...I remember as a kid me and my friends use to ride our bicycles down on the corniche and was one of the most fun things we could have...I guess it's been a while since they stopped allowing that...Does anybody know of places in Doha that are good for cycling?

There are plans to build a ...There are plans to build a cooled cycle track - along the Corniche, I think. I don't know where is a good place at the moment.

Hey Krish ...There is a cycling community/group around in Al-Khor..I could see every day evening on my way back driving home..a lot of cycling sprees riding thru Ras Laffan-Al Khor-Doha roads.

Those guys must be a committed group.
I would nt walk anywhere near those lanes not even in the middle even with barrier protection (seems like some vehicles aim for them head on)

cycling ...try the Sports City for cycling. The kids love it. Haven't tried myself. My bicycle is all dusty from all the sandstorms and been used in two years now. I'm not tired of life!
