what about opening an islamic school?
For all brothers and sisters out there, i am thinking of opening an islamic school in Doha inshallah.
i need all the help i can get and lots of references to start with.
I wil be more than happy to get everyone involved in this school, let me know what you think??

One of the main problems I found with private islamic schools in britain is the secular curric. lacks quality.
Another problem is that they tend to have serious culture mixed in with Islam. I would recommend having a scholar talk to you about the correct standard of teaching that is needed from an islamic point of view.
I believe we can have quality teachers in a muslim school with a better than average secular education for the students.
While helping to create the only islamic school in my area one factor that I feel is important is setting up with a group of people who have the same islamic beliefs and ambitions for a school.
May Allah bless you in your endeavor and make it successful.
p.s. I feel so sad that in a muslim country there is not already proper quality islamic schools. We as a muslim ummah should be ashamed!

No existing Islamic schools? ...Good Faith: Wa'alaikum assalam warahmatullah. It's a great idea, but are there no existing Islamic schools in the community at all? I don't have any children, but I find that hard to believe.

Well an Islamic School is ...Well an Islamic School is very much required in Qatar. I have seen the work of International Islamic School in bombay, managed by IRF, Dr.Zakir Naik, they are doing great. The kids are very knowledgeable both in regular subjects as well as in Islamic knowledge of Qur'an and Saheeh Hadiths.
We need best of both education for our kids, i.e academically and Islamically too.
Any updates on this?
