My car petrol consumption
any one can help me if my car (chevrolate Tahoe1999) consumption petrol is normal or no and how many km doing in full tank because my car doing in full tank qrs.75 is 250 km only, pls thanks

The manual says 7km per litre ....but usually its less than that and since Tahoe is a heavy vehicle 3km/litre is usually the average with Aircon full on and the stereo blasting.
Its the same for most of the heavy vehicles. Thats the reason they have a bigger tank ;)
Also note you spend a wee bit more fuel with CD/MP3 than with Radio.

there are rules to control ...there are rules to control the gas consumption:
1- Accelaration shall be normal, i.e. watch your RPM (Revolution per min) this shouldnt exceed 2500RPM. If you exceed this that mean you engin power is consuming more for short distance.
2- Dont accelerate while you can see the signal red light, That give you gas wastage and breaks consumption for nothing. and with no out put.
3- Fill Gas in the mid of the Day. Don't fill Gas at night, or just after Gas station finish their supply of gas.
4- In case you stil have problem check with dealer to check for you the injection, filter, Gas filter.
5- If your car has done more than 100,000KM, so dont expect it will be same as when it was 50,000KM done.
By the end your safety in driving is the most important.

Always keep speed control, Means steady speed. if you are going 100Km/h then 20km/h then 50km/h, Try always to be in steady one speed.

It's normal, rember you got ...It's normal, rember you got a 5.3 liter V8 in it and it's heavy. But anyway, Petrol is so cheap that no one would care or am i wrong ? (I don't care anyway, that is why I drive my V12 and Love it)

gas guzzler.... ...Bro it's completely normal... Im also a tahoe owner, though the newer generation... The 99 model I guess was still the 5.7L vortex so it's absolutely normal for it to spend 75riyal per 250-300km (i average approx the same although Im a very lousy driver and floor the gas pedal). Anyway you are lucky to be in Qatar and pay such petrol price... (Remember in many places in Europe petrol is at an average of almost 10riyal/liter) and in the US in many places its at 5$/gallon. As other members hinted, clean the air filter, and replace the oil/fuel filters regularly.
