Sigma Paints Qatar Held another in their regular series of seminars on Monday 20th Oct 2008.

It was held in Movenpick Towers & Suites, and attended by dozens of engineers and architects from many of the senior consultancy firms in Qatar.

An entertaining and informative presentation on Paint Systems Failure on External Concrete and Cement Based Substrates and the factors which can influence the life of an applied paint system was given by Mr. Mike Murphy (DTS Manager Sigma Paints, Middle East)

The discussion on adhesion to the substrate and the influence primers have on achieving a durable and good quality finish on different surface types which can withstand the harsh Middle Eastern climate generated an interesting and lively debate appreciated by the delegates.
