ok i reallly need help with this one.....
I am a Canadian female under husband's sponsership....i have been called for an interview with an english co-ed school for administration. does anyone have any idea how much the salaries run for this sort of positions????....I have my interview tomorrow and I would really like t know how much I should be expecting???.........thanx

probably more than that ...depends what you mean by "administration". I'd think for an English school, should probably be 12000 - 16000 QR per month. a school i was at, that would be a reasonable salary for a teacher. adminstrators (not admin assistants) would be at a pretty good rate. it's sad to say, but schools that hire white, english speakers, pay more than say, East Indian people.

thanx guys ...you know its funny, I have noooo idea wat position im being called for...i had emailed bunch of resumes to diffrent schools and organization just a day before and got this call, when i asked her what position they were calling me for, she just said admin....so i don't know if its administrator or admin assistant..BTW what is the pay range fo admin assistant???
oh and im canadian raised english speaker pakistani, so i guess i'll find out tomorrow, if its my passport that matters or my nationality :)

Just saying admin means it ...Just saying admin means it is some secretarial / clerical job conected with the functioning of school.

It depends on the school... ...It depends on the school... some schools are just businesses.. so they might offer you QR5000, so don't be surprised...

guess what i said NO ...they offered me accounts instead of admin, pay was not bad 7k to start, but i dont wanna be stuck with accounts, so for now im happy teaching kids english at my villa, so if any of you guys know someone who migh be looking for english classes for children, direct them to me :)
