I do enjoy QL and it helped me a lot when I first came here, and I intend to keep on enjoying it despite what I posted :)

I did and thats what brought me to start this thread, I love nothing better than reading or participating in a good debate, however, when it turns to name calling and personal insults, to me, that person lacks the intelligence to say anything constructive.

I do ignore them, just wanted to make a point, that it is their lack of intelligence that makes them get personal and insulting ;)

some days I am on here for hours enjoying every minute then others I log in, see whats happening and log out again.

Haha! I just feel sorry for any newbies who's first experience of QL is a thread you're involved in. They must run for their lives!

I wasn't implying you were mean to newbies! I meant if their first experience of QL was to read through an argument/discussion between you and one of your adversaries.

My point is that if you start a thread about something that happened years and years ago, that everyone already knows about, that has been discussed to death before AND has nothing to do with Qatar or Qatar Living, then you're leaving yourself open to being insulted and abused.

definitely there will be difference in opinion and any provocateur will be dealt accordingly. Specially if the provocateur is hiding something in his/her profiles that doesn't seem to fit the level of argument being raised.

It's just like saying, on a common subject, a 40-year-old person will have a very distinct difference in opinion with a person half this age and sometimes it's that sense that provokes others.

It will be natural for gentlemen to treat a lady a little bit differently (in some ways or in some extent of leverage handling) but will not give the same treatment to a "bashing" same "bull" (expressions only, no offense intended).
